Wild Ireland is committed to ensuring that all visitors, regardless of their abilities, can enjoy our park and all that it has to offer. We have implemented the following accessibility policy to ensure that our park is accessible to everyone.

Disabled Parking: We provide designated disabled parking spaces close to the park entrance to ensure easy access to our facilities. Please display your blue badge when using these spaces.

Disabled Toilet Facilities: We have wheelchair-accessible toilets located in the park. These facilities include handrails and other necessary accommodations to ensure maximum comfort and convenience.

Flat Paths: We have designed our park paths to be flat, making them accessible to visitors with mobility issues or those who use wheelchairs or mobility scooters. Our paths are also wide enough to accommodate these devices comfortably.

Assistance Dogs: At Wild Ireland, we understand the importance of assistance dogs to their owners and the valuable role they play in supporting their well-being. However, due to the risk of disease and the safety of our visitors and animals, we regret that we cannot allow assistance dogs on site.

Wild Ireland is home to a range of animals, some of whom may perceive assistance dogs as prey or predators, causing unnecessary stress and risk to both the assistance dog and our animals. We must prioritize the safety and welfare of all animals in our care, and we therefore have a strict no-dogs policy.

Furthermore, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all visitors, and the presence of dogs on site increases the risk of disease transmission. Many of our animals are particularly susceptible to illnesses carried by dogs, and we must take all necessary precautions to minimize the spread of disease within our park.

We understand that this may cause inconvenience for visitors who rely on assistance dogs, and we apologize for any disappointment this may cause. We suggest that visitors with assistance dogs make alternative arrangements for their care during their visit to Wild Ireland.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us to maintain the health and welfare of all animals in our care and to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all our visitors.

Staff Assistance: Our staff are happy to provide assistance and support to visitors with disabilities. Please let us know if you require any assistance during your visit, and we will do our best to help.

Wild Ireland is committed to continually reviewing and improving our accessibility policy to ensure that we provide the best possible experience for all visitors. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please let us know.

We recommend that you spend at least 2 hours at the park to give you the best opportunity to see our animals.   Enclosures are designed in such a way that the animals can rest out of public sight should they wish to have a bit of peace and quiet.

Daily keeper talks are scheduled, information on these is available at the gate but are subject to change.

There is no time limit on your stay and you can stay as long as you wish until the park closes.

No – unfortunately not. Dogs or pets are not permitted in the park (including assistance dogs).  Some of our animals may see your pet as a predator and cause unnecessary distress. For your safety, the safety of our animals and your pets, bringing any animal in to the park is strictly prohibited.

The Wild Café serves hot drinks, snacks, sandwiches and sweet treats. We have a designated picnic area
