Most frequent questions and answers

We open every day except Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

During the winter our opening hours are 10-4 with longer opening times during the warmer months.  Check our web site and social media pages for the most up to date information.

Yes – we accept credit and debit cards and sterling

Yes – we have a free car park provided for our guests

Yes – our paths are suitable for wheelchair users, prams and pushchairs. 

We also have disabled toilet and baby changing facilities on site for our guests to use.

We do not however permit the use of childrens scooters, bicycles or skates around the park for safety reasons.

We recommend that you spend at least 2 hours at the park to give you the best opportunity to see our animals.   Enclosures are designed in such a way that they can rest away from the public should they wish to have a bit of peace and quiet. Any keeper talks are scheduled at the gate on the blackboard and are subject to change.

There is no time limit on your stay and you can stay as long as you wish until the park closes.

No – unfortunately no dogs or pets are permitted at the park including assistance dogs.  Some of our animals may see your pet as a predator and cause unnecessary distress. For your safety, the safety of our animals and your pets, bringing any animal in to the park is strictly prohibited.

The answer to that is yes to both.  You are welcome to bring your own picnic and use the outdoor tables and chairs provided.  Alternatively, our cafe serves hot and cold drinks, snacks, confectionary and ice creams 

Dress according to the weather.  Wild Ireland is an outdoor attraction and we suggest that you dress according to the weather.  As some of our paths may be uneven, flat shoes are recommended.  High heels are not permitted!
