Fantastic day out with lots to see - Really worth visiting. Very informative about the animals and the conservation Wild Ireland is involved in. The staff are friendly and have an in depth knowledge of the animals.

29/12/2024The best Christmas experience - We went as a family of 6 from all diffrent age groups to see santa in the wild artic experience at wild ireland. Wow, what a magical experience from start... read more to finish. We were greeted as we arrived by a lovely girl in the entrance who was so warm and welcoming. We made our way down to the dome through a beautiful path way lit with Christmas lights. The dome was amazing, so many photo opportunities. That is where the excitement began, it was magical. We went into see santa and it was amazing, he had every single one of us believing and feeling that feeling we felt as children. We made our way to the VR machine and it was out of this world. We then headed to decorate ginger bread men with Mrs Claus and had food in the cafe which was delicious. The most amazing magical experience and lovely friendly staff.

A wonderful wildlife experience - A great family day out for animal lovers. Very reasonable admission price. Loved seeing the bears, wolves, racoons, deer and foxes but there's also lots of other animals to enjoy... read more including monkeys.
Were slightly disappointed that keeper talk schedule wasn't as advertised and even staff seemed confused about when they would take place. We managed to attend one for the bears, but no one turned up to give a talk about the wolves. Maybe best to ask on the day about timings and availability.
Some areas of the sanctuary are under development so it's a bit of a work in progress but still plenty to see.
Good facilities on site- free parking, toilets and a really nice cafe area. Cafe area has covered seating but isn't indoors; dress for the weather.Thingshelenloves
